Dear U.S. customers, I am very sad to inform you that flute orders are now subject to 35% tariffs as of August 29, 2025. Unfortunately, the tariffs have to be paid by all U.S. customers.
I kindly ask that you contact me prior to making a new purchase via the website, as when you make a purchase via PayPal their transaction fee of 4% is non-refundable, even if I need to give my customers a full refund.
I contacted U.S. customs today (Sept. 2, 2025) to see if there is a way that the 35% tariffs can be waived because of CUSMA, the Canadian United States Mexico Agreement on trade that is still in effect. I asked the question on the https://www.help.cbp.gov/s/questions?language=en_US website and I am now waiting for a reply. If you can do some research from your end and find out new information, please let me know. That wait on a phone call is close to 2 hours. I will try again tomorrow.
